Blue watercolor speech bubble with the message "Hi there! I'm so glad you're here." in dark blue handwritten font.

Passion and compassion are what drive me every single day.

After over a decade working as a Speech-Language Pathologist and seven years in special education, I've seen firsthand how incredibly challenging it can be to be a parent of a special needs child. I've also witnessed something that breaks my heart:

Most students deserve far more than what the education system has offered them.

That's exactly why I'm here. My purpose is to break the mold.

Let's approach learning to communicate in a completely new way—one that makes your child genuinely excited to share what they love with the world.

Here are some of my work experiences that help me shape my values:

Supporting Families with Children ages 0-3 - The Early Intervention Program is where I learned that supporting the family is absolutely crucial to a child's development.

Therapeutic day schools - Working with students who can no longer find a home at their resident school district is one of my specialties. As a former administrator in this environment, I understand the challenges that exist within these organizations and can build relationships and advocate for your child in IEP meetings or other discourse.

Outpatient pediatric clinics - understanding the medical side and navigating insurance funding for AAC devices. This process can seem complex and intimidating to parents and other speech-language pathologists. I have the tips and tricks that allow me to take charge of the entire process.

Developing AAC programming for over 120 students - ensuring every child has access to technology that helps them communicate. In some cases, I had to fight for a student’s basic right to be heard. It was an honor to be apart of the process and support their skills.

Remote services - because sometimes flexibility is exactly what your family needs.

I hold my Illinois State License and American Speech and Hearing Association Certification of Clinical Competency, plus specialized coursework in Assistive Technology at UIC. But here's what matters most: I've been in the trenches with families just like yours, and I care deeply about giving your child the absolute best support possible.

I am a professional who already knows the truth you carry in your heart—that your child has so much to say. You don't need to convince me or prove it to me. I see it, I believe it, and I'm here to help you unlock it.

Together, we'll transform that beautiful potential into real, meaningful communication that you can witness and celebrate every single day. Your child's voice matters, and I'm committed to helping you both discover just how powerful it can be.
